New Outdoor Learning Zone!

With the help of local schools, children’s centres and volunteers, active Newham are currently creating a new outdoor learning environment including a sensory garden and Victorian herb beds in the North of the Park near to the Rangers Hut. This area will be used all year round for wildlife, gardening and sensory workshops and will also be accessible by park users on a daily basis.

We are currently looking for more schools and community groups to get involved in the design and construction of this space – contact the activity coordinator anna.yusuf@ activeNewham.org.uk

Oral History Heritage Project:

activeNewham is currently working with Eastside Heritage to compile a series of interviews to form the basis for an oral history exhibition and educational workshop.
