There’s plenty for everyone to get involved in from soft play; games and activities in the studios, creative play and swimming for competent swimmers over 8 years and much more!

Join us for the Bunny Run at the Olympic Park
Put down that carrot, fluff up your fur and don’t be late, late, late for this year’s Bunny Run! 1k, 3k or 5k Bunny Run and Little Bunny Fun Run.
When: 10:00am, Saturday 8 April 2017. Meeting at the Timber Lodge cafe
Where: Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park
Dress code: Fluffy!
Cost: £5 adult £3 for children under 12. Two children run free with every adult

This family event features a beautiful course around the Park that the family can enjoy.
There will be a visit from the Easter Bunny, plus a goody bag and a unique finishers medal
for all participants. There’s a Little Bunny Fun Run for children aged 8 and younger.

The Virgin Money Giving Mini London Marathon trials  
The Virgin Money Giving Mini London Marathon will be taking place on Saturday 23 April. We are looking for young people between the age of 11-17 of age who live or attend school in Newham to be part of our Team. 
We are therefore inviting individuals to take part in a trial on Sunday 5 March. Please attend if you are interested in representing Newham.

Born to Move at Atherton Leisure Centre 
Born to Move is an adventure of discovery, action and song for 4 – 5 year olds! These fun-fuelled classes help four and five year olds explore how their bodies work. There’s plenty of opportunity to develop self-awareness, balance, coordination and concentration skills as they interpret music, explore and move to a beat. Each 30 minute class is led by highly trained teacher who will ensure your child is engaged, active and having a whole heap of fun!

Atherton Leisure Centre!

Swing Train is coming to Atherton Leisure Centre! 
Classes starting every Friday from 20 January 6.00pm – 7.00pm!

SwingTrain is a high-intensity dance cardio workout inspired by the joyful, energetic sounds of Charleston, Swing, Gospel, Rhythm & Blues, Electro Swing, and Hot Jazz. These total-body exercise classes are suitable for all levels and the music is so infectious that you won't even realise you're burning up to 500 calorie per hour! Our first-rate instructors will lead you through a series of fun, follow-along moves and interactive choreography guaranteed to get you sweating and smiling!

Don’t miss out, cut some shapes and get fit at the same time!



Ladies! Try Cricket! 
The University of East London SportDock are running FREE Ladies Cricket taster sessions. Run by a female coach who will provide a session for all abilities

Wear any comfortable clothing and trainers and bring a drink. Come along and learn something fun, meet new people and improve your health and fitness!

Go Wild! Family Club
Children of all ages and their families and carers are invited to join the free Go Wild!
sessions at East Ham Nature Reserve.

Have fun exploring the reserve and getting to know the wildlife that lives there.
You'll be able to build dens, make crafts, and play in the beautiful surroundings.
There will be the chance to learn about the different seasons, and the animals and plants that call the nature reserve their home.
Sessions take place on the 3rd Saturday of the month from 12.00pm - 2.30pm.

Great Run Local Newham
Every Sunday Newham residents can enjoy a free fun run for people of all ages.
The weekly run takes place at New Beckton Park every Sunday at 9.30am and involves a timed 2k and 5k run. The event is free and families are welcomed including children and buggies. The run is part of a network of free, weekly, friendly running events delivered by fantastic local organisers and volunteers.
