active Newham has a wide-ranging programme to develop cricket in the borough, and we work with primary and secondary schools, local cricket clubs and many other partners to provide young people with the best possible introduction to cricket. Our community programmes provide opportunities to enjoy playing cricket in a casual and informal setting, as well as providing competitive coaching for those who want to develop their skills and play at a higher level.
We also work closely with the 3 cricket clubs in Newham to offer a range of opportunities to play cricket and improve your skills.

Indoor cricket facilities are available at East Ham Leisure Centre and Newham Leisure Centre. Lister School and Rokeby School have an indoor sports hall and indoor and outdoor cricket nets. For bookings please call 020 3373 9015. Flanders Field is the home of Newham Cricket Club, and their new cricket nets are available for hire. We are now taking bookings for the Artificial Cricket Pitch (NTP) at Gooseley Playing Fields. The cost per match is £50. If you are interested in booking this pitch please email habebur.rahman@activenewham.org.uk There are cricket nets and two cricket squares at West Ham Park.
